The documentary: "Forests for our future"

The documentary "Forests for our future" about the Biodiversity Corridor Conservation Initiative (BCI) with activities in five countries in the GMS was launched on the occasion of World Environment Day Thursday June 5^th at resident missions in Cambodia, PR China, Lao PDR and in Thailand. Government partners, NGOs, media and youth representatives participated in the launch, that spurred two articles in the Bangkok Post [Article 1] [Article 2] as well as articles in Thaipost and Thai Rath, one article in Mekong Times, and one in Vientiane Times. The documentary was shown on national TV in Lao PDR and Thailand and is being considered for national TV in Viet Nam, raising awareness of the unique biodiversity that the GMS countries share and the importance of protecting the Mekong forests.
