Workshops on Environmental Safeguards Mechanisms
Train Regional Participants

GMS Regional Trading and Environmentally Sustainable Development of Electricity Infrastructure (ADB GMS RETA 6440) organized a four-day training workshop on Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) and Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA).
The purpose of the two trainings conducted in parallel was to build capacity within the relevant stakeholders in the GMS (Power ministries, power generating and transmission organizations/companies and environmental authorities).
Sumit Pokhrel, Lothar Linde and Dr. Chonchinee Amawatana
represented GMS-EOC for presentations on Global Warming, New Considerations in EIA and SEA and Environmental Indicators.
