held in Bangkok, 26 – 28 February 2009 at Chulalongkorn University.

23 – 26, February 2009, a group of journalists and reporters from across Asia are participating in a training workshop under the headline "How to report on Climate Change", held in Bangkok, Thailand,
back-to-back with the workshop on Megacities at Risk, organized in a collaboration between among others START and ADB.
The training workshops form part of activities under a multimedia ADB RETA in a collaboration between ADB and Asian Broadcasting Union (ABU).
The project aims to support national media in producing stories about climate change.
The workshop participants will be producing stories for radio and TV over the next 6 months that will be distributed through ABU’s member network with guaranteed broadcasting time.
As part of the session on ADB’s activities on climate change, EOC gave the workshop participants an overview of GMS-EOC with scope and objectives and a few of the planned activities for the coming supplemental phase were presented as case studies.
