Sourcing out young professionals at AIT Career Fair

On Friday, November 14, EOC joined the Career Fair that is organized twice yearly for students at the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) to find jobs and internship opportunities and connect with possible future employees.

The main purpose for GMS-EOC's participation at the Career Fair was to recruit possible candidates for internships within EOC's areas of focus. GMS-EOC's stand was well visited throughout the day with students, scientists and scholars that were interested in learning more about environment in the GMS, the areas of focus and opportunities for working at the EOC and many strong profiles and CVs were sourced.

The opening address was delivered by Ms. Lilita Bacareza-Pacudan, Project Implementation & Capacity Development Specialist and a presentation about Career Paths within the Greater Mekong Subregion Environment Operations Center was held by Mr. Jorgen Eriksson, Program Development and Management Specialist.

The GMS-EOC thanks all interested candidates for their interest in the program and their CVs as well as the CVs that have been submitted following the workshop. Candidates that are being considered for an internship with EOC will be contacted for further arrangements.
