Experts' Workshop on Strategic Environmental Assessment in East Asia and Pacific Region

On 4th December 2008, GMS-EOC co-organized an experts’ workshop on SEA in the South East Asia and the Pacific Region in collaboration with World Bank Institute.
In order to optimize synergies, the workshop was held back-to-back with an event on the theme of "Developing SEA systems in Viet Nam", which was organized by OECD, MPI and MONRE.
The workshop provided a venue for focused discussions on SEA country overviews and was concluded by agreement on priorities for future support to ongoing development of SEAs in the region.
GMS—EOC supported the participation of Thai participants. The workshop was held in Hanoi, Viet Nam.
